Catfish Junction in Saraland

The food was EXCELLENT, but by the time I got mine, everyone had started eating & halfway finish. Other, than that it was MARVELOUS!!!! Really, enjoy the setting and atmosphere!!!! I'll give you a 10. It was GREAT!!!!

Shelly was our waitress and she was the best. She was very nice, kept us refilled and did everything before we even asked, with a smile, I might add. Our food was excellent!!! My husband & I enjoyed it very much. The prices were good, the restaurant was very clean. I will be a return customer!

Arrived and were finally seated at 7:55pm. Waitress told us the buffet (servers were in place) closed at 8:00 and we had to use the menu. Customers were still being seated, eating from the buffet, etc. Judging by the way everyone spoke to each other, we were the ‘visitors’ and not given the opportunity to eat from the bar. Will not be returning

We always get the seafood platter. We can usually not finish it so we end up having leftovers for lunch the next day. They have the best hush puppies and cheese dip. Service is always excellent and in 7 years we've been going, we've never been anything other than completely happy with everything.

Unbelievable good fish, shrimp and hush puppies & cheese sauce! Service was excellent also. Took our employees there for our Christmas dinner. Thanks Catfish Junction.

This was my first time going to Catfish Junction, we were a large group of over 15 people just coming from a funeral. The restaurant was only given about 15-20 mins notice of our arrival. Our waitress Joy was as her name says, she was a joy! The food was so delicious, the portions were huge! I ordered the Pig and Potato and it was fabulous, I still have leftovers! Lots in my group ordered the fried fish, grits, turnips, I'm my! I sure hope the gratuity was taken out of the check!

Very good buffet for $12. Fried catfish and hush puppies with cheese sauce as only Catfish Junction can do it. Nice salad and the ribeye steak was great. The only thing keeping from being a 5 star is that they did not have fried shrimp.

Great seafood, great hush puppies, service beyond great. I was with a party of 6 including a 2 year old. Our server's name was Joy and she was indeed a joy. Bottom line...good experience and a great meal for a reasonable price.

Catfish was delicious, but they probably have the best hush puppies!!! They bring cheese sauce to dip them in.... Sooo good!! Service was good... Fast service.

Love this lil quaint, cozy restaurant! Excellent service, friendly waiters, and the overall ambiance of the restaurant is truly relaxing. Excellent view with plenty of animals in outdoor pond as well!

Carry out order. First time visitors. Food was excellent. My wife (who doesn't eat catfish) tried it and loved it. Also loved the shrimp. Will make this a regular spot when we visit.

Very very mediocre. Had seafood platter whatever the hell it was... Oysters were very small, the jumbo shrimp are not very jumbo. They had all this baby shrimps it was mushy.. the hush puppies were mushy... Asked formy fries crispy, came out luke warm and mushy. For 22 bucks I was expecting a little more. Some of the reviews have it good low budget class with low budget quality food... The waitress was nice it's not her fault food kind of sucks. Overall, very underwhelming.

Good hot food at a good price

This is one of our family favorite place even my family from Texas Louisiana love to come down and go straight to Catfish Junction my mother loved it when she was alive I loved it especially when they had the fish ponds that you would catch your own fish sometimes back in the days miss that part I would love for my grandchildren been able to go out there and go fishing so much has changed they don't even have the food where you can feed the Ducks and stuff anymore I miss that but other than that this is one of our favorite restaurant in my whole family

The all you can eat fried catfish and shrimp is an excellent deal! Fried to perfection and gently seasoned! Highly recommend! 👍

I dont know about lunch time, but service was not 100%. We were told that our waitress was new, but no refills and no food for 45mins is not acceptable to me. Someone else should have stepped in and helped.I may go back, but it will be a minimum of 5 months so they can work out the training.

Not as good as it used to be and way more pricey. It was $45 for me and my 2 children to eat the weekday lunch cafeteria style buffet. Only open for lunch except on Fridays and Saturdays. Quite frankly, I don't know how they stay open. I was pretty disappointed.

My wife and I went in to eat lunch today We were seated and the waitress came and got our drink. We got our drink and the same waitress went wait in other people that came in after us. We set there and she never came back to get our order even though she got other people's order that came in after us. She then left and never came back to our table. We continued to wait but decided the waitress had more important things to do than wait onUs. So we left. The lady at front apologized but it wasn't her fault. I think the waitressWould rather talk to people in the kitchen .I think some work training needs to be done atThe restaurant

The food is good.The service was great.It's a nice place for a family meal.

Lunch buffet, way overpriced 11.99 and then you pay for drink also. Small pieces of fish, shrimp was tiny and hard. Server gave small portions on everything. Not worth what you pay.

Been there once but absolutely plan on returning very soon.Excellent atmosphere for a good time. The ducks outback are friendly and are worth seeing as well

I went for a late lunch. Seated immediately, drink order taken on the way to table and brought out quickly. Food arrived in a timely manner and was hot, fresh and good. My server was very friendly and kept close tabs on me.

I love seafood this restaurant is amazing

I liked the duck pond and the restaurant/staff was nice but very little for vegetarians. My cousin who was visiting, loved the catfish.
